With the cursor at the bottom left of the cloud cover map, you can visualize the future course of the clouds. To do this, simply click on the corresponding button. You can distinguish between high, medium, and low clouds. Using the button at the top right of the cloud cover map, you can select the type of cloud cover. Conversely, a gray area indicates relatively light cloud cover with occasional sunshine. The chances of catching a glimpse of the sun in this area are therefore very poor. The whiter and clearer the coloration is, the denser the cloud cover is here. On our cloud cover map, cloud areas are displayed visibly for you by a gray-white coloring. Where is it cloudy? Where is the sun shining? This is how you read the cloud cover map: Gray color indicates light cloud cover, while a white color means heavy cloud cover. Bitez is well placed for visiting the rest of the peninsula - it's a nice place to tour.In yellow-colored areas, the sun is shining. I'm sure you'll have a great time and return feeling really relaxed. We fly out on 25 April this year until 5 May and can't wait. The days are lovely though (though the sea was a little cool for me). The weather was lovely - just take a cardi for the evenings as it can get a bit chilly. We were there (in Gumbet next door) from 22 to 29 April last year and visited Bitez often as we have friends with a restuarant there. I've been to Lanzarote and although the Canary Islands have a more temperate climate, I find it a little too windy for me there.Īlso, as has been said before, you'll get more for your money in Turkey (unless the euro makes a sudden and miraculous recovery!!). May is a lovely month - it's the start of the season, everything's fresh, and it's not too busy. If you speak to anyone in Bitez (the locals I mean), they will tell you that in their opinion, May and September are the best months to visit.
